Shinedown Unveils New Single "Dance, Kid, Dance" and Announces 2025 U.S. Tour with Charitable Twist

Shinedown has released their latest single "Dance, Kid, Dance" on January 24, 2025, alongside another track titled "Three Six Five." The song, co-written by frontman Brent Smith, bassist/producer Eric Bass, and Dave Bassett, was produced by Eric Bass at his Big Animal Studio in Charleston, South Carolina.
"Dance, Kid, Dance" blends social commentary with an invitation to embrace life's joyful moments. The track is described as part social critique and part encouragement to "rock out and LET'S DANCE!"
To support the new singles, Shinedown has announced the "Dance, Kid, Dance" tour, set to begin on April 25, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. The 35-date U.S. tour will feature performances at major venues, including New York's Madison Square Garden on July 20, Boston's TD Garden on July 19, and Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on May 10.
Supporting acts for the tour include BEARTOOTH and BUSH on select dates, with Morgan Wade appearing at all shows. In a charitable initiative, Shinedown will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Musicians On Call (MOC), an organization that brings live music to patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare settings.
Shinedown, a multi-platinum band known for their chart-topping success and record-breaking achievements in Active Rock Radio, continues to showcase their versatility and passion for songwriting with this release. The "Dance, Kid, Dance" single and tour mark a new chapter for the band, highlighting their creative approach and commitment to charitable causes.
